Md. Kayesh Ahmed is a social worker and VDP member from Harigati village of Kalmakandar in Netrokona district. He died on 12 February 2025, At the 45th national convention of Bangladesh Ansar and VDP held in Safipur, Gazipur, he received the "President's Village Defence Team (Service) Medal" with the approval of the President in recognition of his social service work and special role in maintaining law and order. Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury was the chief guest at the event and the medal was officially presented by the force's Director General Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud.
